The Bloomsbury Woodwind Ensemble presents a gala performance of music for film culminating in the climax of eighteen months’ work on the ‘Adopt-a-Composer’ scheme with Christopher Hussey with a world premiere screening of Twisted Skyscape, a new film by Matt Kemp with a live performance of the musical score. Music to include all-time favourite themes including Vertigo, The Pink Panther, Schindler’s List, Taxi Driver, E.T. and many more.

Our Spring concert will be filled with the drama and excitement of the operatic repertoire through the ages, including music from Carmen, Aidi, Don Giovanni, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Cavalleria Rusticana, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and more!

Summer concert ~ Organ Masterworks – venue to be confirmed
Our Summer concert will be themed around organ music arranged for woodwind ensemble. The programme will include pieces by Handel, Brahms, Bach, Mendelssohn, Howells, and Parry. An organ soloist will be joining us for this performance.

Non-Residential Weekend Music Workshop – Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London WC1
Now an annual event, our workshop will feature both ensemble and chamber music with visiting guest tutors. The workshop will be open to all so please tell your friends and bring them along for two brilliant days of music making.
